Goblins
So much synergy! So many Goblins!
Goblin Lackey puts goblins directly into play! Turn two Siege-Gang Commander for free? That’s a lot of Goblins, and Goblin Piledriver loves a lot of Goblins!
Just goldfishing…
- Turn 1: Play Goblin Lackey
- Turn 2: Attack, they’re at 19, put Siege-Gang Commander into play, it makes three goblins. Play land, play Goblin Piledriver.
- Turn 3: Attack with everything, Piledriver is a pro-blue 11/2, six more damage from the other goblins, that’s 17 damage this turn, they’re at two. Siege-gang them saccing a goblin, you win. Oh you also even got a Lackey trigger there you didn’t need.
Goblin Matron for tutoring, Ringleader for refilling your hand. Incinerator as a Goblin or just to remove pesky blockers by cycling.
Goblin Piledriver is a big threat. He’s a 1/2 for two mana, but he gets +2/+0 for each other goblin attacking, which as seen above can really add up. Gempalm Incinerator clears the way without spending a card: cycling him deals damage equal to the number of goblins you control to any target, which is usually enough to kill whatever is blocking.
Wasteland and Rishadan Port are disruption. Port taps at the beginning of your opponent’s upkeep to keep a land tapped during their main phase. Wasteland destroys a nonbasic land outright. Against decks that need specific colors or nonbasic lands to function, this pressure often prevents them from executing their plan long enough for your goblins to close the game.

Sideboarding Thoughts
Red Elemental Blast: Counters any blue spell or destroys any blue permanent for one red mana. Every piece of countermagic in Stiflenought and every goblin-killing card in Psychatog is blue. Keep mana open to protect your key threats from being countered or answered.
Pyrokinesis: Pitch any red card from your hand to deal 4 damage divided among any number of creatures for free. A board of Llanowar Elves, Wirewood Symbiote, and Quirion Ranger all die at no card cost.
Tormod’s Crypt: Graveyard hate.
Overload: Pesky artifacts like Sphere of Resistance meet their end!
Anarchy: Bring in against Enchantress: Sterling Grove, Opalescence, Solitary Confinement, and Elephant Grass all die in one shot.
Goblin Goon: An extra finisher for games that go longer than expected.
